How badminton court dimensions are calculated
This badminton court dimensions calculator uses the published BWF court measurements for singles and doubles play. Choose an output unit and a measurement to highlight while the result panel shows the full geometry.
The court is 13.4 metres long. It is 5.18 metres wide for singles or 6.1 metres for doubles; the short service line is 1.98 metres from the net, and the doubles long service line is 0.76 metres inside the back boundary.
Metre results are converted to feet using 1 metre = 3.28084 feet. Service-line positions are distances, and total area is calculated from the selected court length and width.
